1950s 18K Gold HGE Peridot & Cubic Zirconia Statement Ring

This 1950s ring has a lot of sparkle and so much style.

18K gold H.G.E. (heavy gold electroplate) inscribed on the inside of the band with a makers mark by Uncas Manufacturing from Providence, Rhode Island.

Heavy gold plate signified that the manufacturer used more than the standard amount of gold to plate the jewelry. 

Neither HGE (heavy gold electroplate) or HGP (heavy gold plate) have any legal meaning. They only indicate that the item is gold plated with higher than the standard amount.
